Questions donors ask us

Yes. Major Giving projects are ring-fenced from our general running costs, which are covered separately through Lillah donations. Every pound you give toward your project is spent on it.

Where it’s safe to do so, yes. Many donors visit during or after construction. You can also request a specific region or country, subject to our teams having active operations there.

It depends on scale. A shop or classroom can be delivered in 4 to 6 weeks, while a borehole or masjid typically takes 8 to 12 weeks, including procurement and local approvals.

Yes. You’ll receive photos, GPS coordinates and a short completion report. For named projects, we also send a photo of the plaque where applicable.

Most Major Giving projects are Zakat eligible; a few, like masjid builds, are not. Our team will confirm eligibility for your chosen project before you give.
