One-to-one consultation
Tell us a little about what you have in mind and a member of our Major Giving team will call you back, usually within one working day.
A named member of our Major Giving team, usually within one working day.
Your project, your budget and your timeline, confirmed before you give.
Photos, GPS coordinates and your feedback report.
Before you give
Yes. Major Giving projects are ring-fenced from our general running costs, which are covered separately through Lillah donations. Every pound you give toward your project is spent on it.
Where it’s safe to do so, yes. Many donors visit during or after construction. You can also request a specific region or country, subject to our teams having active operations there.
It depends on scale. A shop or classroom can be delivered in 4 to 6 weeks, while a borehole or masjid typically takes 8 to 12 weeks, including procurement and local approvals.
Before and after photos, the exact GPS location, the number of people it serves, any quality checks (such as the water test for a well), voices from the community and, for named projects, a photo of the plaque. It arrives within four weeks of handover.
Choose a project and start a fundraising page for it, in your name or in memory of someone. Share it with family, friends or your masjid. Every gift counts towards the same project total, and once it is fully funded we start building. Everyone who gave receives the feedback report.
Most Major Giving projects are Zakat eligible; a few, like masjid builds, are not. Our team will confirm eligibility for your chosen project before you give.
Not sure what your Zakat comes to this year? Work it out with the Zakat assistant, then bring the figure to your call.
